 Coolness: 132540 | hey , im tired of switching cd/dvd back and forth each time i want to play in the old slick reason 3 and then change my mind to go back to the thor till i get bord again out of the tracker and then revert to 3 again. i can do this about 540 times in 15 minutes.
someone found a way to "copyprotect" the soundbanks or double instance the soundbank / or append them ... something ... there must be a registry hack that keeps both version aware of their own soundbank ?? obviously there is a way to this. im looking , part of looking is to look around then ask question. so im asking :P |

i see where your coming from with your argument and had your issues of your own , but thats not the question . i havent run it on top of my shadow ida just yet , and tought of snapshoting the drives instances and write down the differences occured on the hard drive and work up from there if its not just spliting the instance in the registry. i dont "need" you guys, i might just "stay home not sharing" so youll be "suck with a limited program" all by yourself next time. question ppl , they arent hard to stick to them. there is enough of that attitude all around google , if i can stop you here then so i will : you want that much to speak of reason , start a thread. --------------------------------------------------------- MEANWHILE --------------------------------------------------------- installed reason 3 in %programfiles%/propellerhead/reason3 installed reason 4 in %programfiles%/propellerhead/reason4 now . as you all know , if you install one then the other then try to run the first one , you will be promped to input your key again . this will have for effect , that you will need to have the cd/dvd at hand , and a cd/dvd drive , witch on certain laptops are absent (specially ultraportables , like mine) , if thats the case having the virtual form of the cd/dvds will help a lot in not scratching them out of their layers in two jam session. now . this works so far ( since i installed them without the autorun , with permitted me to install both of them on the same system - launching autorun will ask you to remove the old version) now , its all going well, except id like to save that 2gb and a half out of my hd, since its only a seurity procedure from propellerhead to prevent you to use your propriety as a normal program should. ppl here got a workaround got this "sound bank" dillemma ? |
