I thought HHC was huge in this city, no? maybe I'm wrong. I actually really like some of the early uplifting piano hardcore that came right as hardcore split into HHC and jungle. some of it is really cheesy but sometimes I like cheesy =) I have some really good records from that era. some of the later HHC just got wayy too cheesy and syrupy for my tastes, but to each their own |

| Coolness: 153735 | recoil: its because the extreme cheezyness from happy hardcore as dissapeared, no more gabber kick with hich pitch stabs, cheezy synth sounds and chipmunk vocal, its now down to earth, and real signers.
it as evolved in what we call now uk hardcore. and 1 party every 6 month isnt what i call a "strong happy hardcore scene" =P |

those 2 vids you posted weren't my cup of tea. I have heard some HHC tracks I like though - new and old. I am personally not a fan of that 2nd vid. I dont like the theatrical production or vocals at all, but again, to each their own I like this kinda early happy hardcore - jungle very much though =) it's a 1993/94 Wishdokta bootleg remix of an old breakbeat hardcore classic |

Je détestait ce genre ya 4 ans, et j'ai finit par m'habituer et aujourd'hui adorée... faut donner une chance je crois. C'est joyeux, uplifting, et sa met du soleil dans une journée. Et un bon set dans un party fait ma soirée :) Danser, rire, chanter les paroles a plein poumons avec mes chums, sa défoule, sa fait du bien, pis je me sent mieu apres on dirait. en plus <3 Deadfunk! Je suis une groupie finit :P |
