NA, thats one sad thing, because, electronic music is characterized at first by having a "generally" constant speed, made possible by machines instead of human players, so speed in electronic music is one of the predominant factor of the style. some style have a larger tempo range, some other doesnt, but tempo is part of a style. its not like jazz or classical, its electronic music!

:D
en effet, mais c'est pour ca que du 'hardcore' j'adore... it's the rare style of techno that is in no way restricted to tempo. of course, people will call the slow stuff 'doomcore' and the fast stuff 'speedcore' but it's just hardcore to me...anywhere from, all joking aside, 90 bpm to 320 bpm. as a whole genre, hardcore is restricted to one thing: distortion :p

i dislike happy or uk for it's happiness n stuff... happy because of the chimpmunks and uk well the melody.... as well as people hate hardcore because it's too fast and too much distortion.... but me like fast shit and distortion hehe
