wow. that dj looks like a douche :p

at least now i see the type of crowd that enjoys tone-core. the dude at the end is 'intense'...and by intense i mean high as fuck - lol

yes, that was beyond speedcore... they call it tone, and i love music that pushes the limits, but they're gonna have to find a better way to dance to that shit besides looking like you're either grooving to electro or having an epileptic seizure.
I'm feeling you up right now..

tone ? come on do we REALLY need an other division of abstraction ?
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 6:24pm
soundscape while were at it.

retorically it means the same thing.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 6:32pm
terror / speedcore / noisecore / industrial , and now "tone" why we need an other word to define something that already falls into catergorie done before.

not much different than the label WRONGMUSIC.

is it cause of the epic hardcore label MONOTONE ? not even same speed.

this is SPEEDCORE , call it whatever , but anything else would be giving additionnal names to something that already has too much appelations. at this point secregation of the genre is pure procrastination.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 6:33pm
like computers , not because u passed the speed it has to change name.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 6:40pm
if you mix "TONE" with house, or trance or breakcore

how would your technique be different than mixing "speedcore"

with again house, or trance or breakcore.

how would speedcore and tone be different in the mix ?

and vice versa?
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 6:42pm
so now "bloodyfist"'s tracks we refer that to tone ?

in 96 it was hardcore , and if you wanted to be exotic you called it speedcore.

12 years later same speed called tone , im sorry this makes me laugh.
I'm feeling snafu right now..

[ en.wikipedia.org ]

Breakcore is an electronic music style that brings together elements of industrial, jungle, hardcore techno and IDM into a breakbeat-oriented sound that encourages speed, complexity, impact and maximum sonic density. It adheres to a loose set of stylistic rules.
...
A tempo averaging 190 bpm, as opposed to the average 165 bpm in drum 'n bass.

^ this is an average, not at all a solid reference.

i stop naming styles after their primary division : since "industrial techno" comes too much from the LABEL industrial strengh while at the same time being influenced by its popular counterpart " industrial " with all the goth and shit.

next comes "terror core" witch comes from willwaukee rising new styles and party by dropbass/666ltd : they made parties in barns , with fake blood (sometimes/most of the time real) , meant as a pagan feel party with goat/cow heads hanging from the ceiling with chains and shit.

again name from HOW they party , and how the style could be apply . how was it GENERALLY different from what was being done in autralia by the bloodyfist guys.

then "digital hardcore / breakcore" again , from a genre that could be traced back to something that was defined as speedcore / hardcore etc..

nitpicky names are just silly and technical. how much bins would you require in a music store. and how much difference would be from one bin to an other? might as well just sort everything by artist if your too have that much picky disticntion.

stuff has been miscategorised before, it didnt stop the music, just made people more salival thats all.

if back was splaying a 6th bar at 3/4 compared to mozart that did the 8th a 3/7 . would you start and split thoses two bastards appart on such derellical assuption that what they are doing can be categorised by subgenre ?

this sounds too much like that cheap marketing habbit of renaming a product when it doesnt sell.
Update » cutterhead wrote on Sat Apr 25, 2009 @ 7:43pm
this is redicule like then i heard the name "shranz" for the first time. wast needed at all

and mutante , i listen to splittercore , and his name doesnt have to becore a genre name , music will always add new sound. why draw a new name everytime someone release a track ?

i thought track name were there to that purpose.

again from the link provided above :

Developments in the genre

Breakcore has forever been changing and branching. Many newer breakcore artists focus on melodic progressions and complex drum programming while other artists still focus on distorted hardcore breakbeats and dark-edged musical influences (such as heavy metal, and industrial). The prolific Venetian Snares has produced breakcore blended with elements of classical music.[4] Other artists such as Shitmat, Toecutter, Sickboy, DJ Scotch Egg and Drop the Lime[5] take another direction towards mash-up, happy hardcore and rave to make a lighter, more humorous sound. The rise of chiptune music has also blended with breakcore with artists such as Patric Catani, AA.Kurtz, Sabrepulse, Tarmvred, and DJ Fhantom. Some musicians from the power noise scene have begun to take influence from breakcore. The UK Free Party scene has also expressed a large interest in producing and distributing its own takes on breakcore, with crews and labels such as Headfuk, Hekate, Love Love Records, Audacious. Bad Sekta, NoFixedAbode, Marionette records, Tinnitus, Ill Industries & Life4Land helping to push the scene and sound forward, as well as bringing over a number of international artists to play at their parties and club nights. In Los Angeles DarkMatter SoundSystem pushes the breakcore sound with their underground parties.

i dont even call it breakcore , since breaker will go mad from the name hi-jack, speedcore / hardcore is more than enough to let people know what your talking about , idm : EXPERIMENTAL WAS COINED BEFORE. was proper name for it , instead it just makes people go "WHAT ? OH THAT YEA I KNOW"
I'm feeling snafu right now..

you scared me , and i still dont understand why bringuing the genre up if you name it elsewise.

i mean , yea whatever the kids call it theses days , but why not name it the drug they take while were at it... iv got a medical compendium., you want to start a major label with about 500 subgenre . XD

sorry i hear too much name surfacing and if i hear one more im going to call it RAP . TECHNO KITCH BREAK RAP TRANCE CORE for the matter.

so, that mean electro is hardcore?

dubstep is hardcore?

punk-rock is hardcore?

metal is hardcore?

=P

anyways, we need subgenres, if you go to an "hardcore" party :

in UK its an "happy hardcore" party
in NL its a "new style gabber" party
in france its a "hardtek" party
in US its an "industrial hardcore/speedcore" party

but its all hardcore, and we all agree its very different from one style to another, one can like the first and not the nexts and ect...

the problem is with the elitists subgenres, if you are the only one in the world producing this subgenre, ask yourself questions!
