Cd/dvd Drive For A Precario C500

I know ill be checking the stores later, just figured maybe someone around heres got some gear for a notebook floating around to sell affordably.. |

| the drive yeh i got it here, its from spilling coffe on my keyboard hehe it dont work at all, but i swapped a drive from a friends machine and it worked so i got vista wiped and xp installed and such a huge different in the speed of this notebook now!
gonna need a drive tho! eventually :D |

| if you keep it it could help , esp if it require a special converter at the end (at worse)
you hear it spin? try to brush off the lense with a cue tip with windex applied on the tip, the result could be surprising. dont apply too much pressure and polish it in a way to shine the lense,
remove excess from tip by pressing the tip on the top of your hand first to leave the excess there and have a non dripping cue tip. |

| nah it dont eject or anything. and i figure a standard drive will fit, the one from te acer aspire fits, just had to remove the plate, thats whats different between thiw notebook nd that one, a little plate that screws onto the drive so it'll fasten in place.
my drive dont spin or eject, its toast. :D |
