Mothers Plan Breastfeeding Protest

A group of mothers plan to breastfeed in a Calgary pool Sunday morning to protest what they are calling harassment from lifeguards. The women say it's their right to breastfeed wherever they want to, but the lifeguards at the southwest Killarney pool have asked them to get out of the water or use the change rooms for nursing. Lisa Kathleen breastfeeds in the wading pool and has been told to feed her three-year-old elsewhere. ------------ AHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAhA What is wrong with these people?!!??!  Coolness: 114320 | I don't think breastfeeding in pools, or in public in general, should be such an issue. Most women I know or have seen breastfeeding their child are very discreet about it; usually with either a towel or blanket draped across themselves to keep everything hidden. If seeing a woman breastfeed her child disgusts you, avert your eyes you prude!
But I will agree that breastfeeding your kid at 3 years old is a bit strange. |

 Coolness: 74760 | Breast feeding no-matter what age is more then excellent for your immune system, ive read somewhere that you can breastfeed upto five years old and the kid's immune system is invincible. |

anyway the women sometimes breastfeed their child up to the age of 7 happens elsewhere too. just what they do to survive in a harsh environment I guess |
