So if one choses to treat the subject with austerity, thats a choice. Others might use humour to cope. So if ScottyP or anyone else feels uncomfortable, maybe a therapist can help. If we cant laugh at things that suck in life... |

Cancer kinda gives you a general timeframe for what remains of your life, means you've some time left to enjoy it if you don't already. Too bad there's pain involved. But I guess there's some too with a car or a machete. Mickos, chill ta moule. |

I don't agree. everybody must know someone who has cancer or has died of cancer. if people who have cancer want to joke about it, I agree humour is a good thing. but joking about people dying of cancer is in very bad taste, imo i wasn't bothered by this thread but definitely some people would be and with good reason |

A drug OD, a drowning, an aneurysm, two old-age, one heart attack and one suicide (though the suicide did have one of her lungs removed from lung cancer, but they caught it in time and it wasn't a threat to her anymore) |
