I got on the queen street car, going east to the Queen Street Subway station at Yonge and Queen Street. I obtained a transfer. I went through the south outside entrance to the subway (where the Bay is on Queen Street), showed the employee at the booth my transfer. He didnt let me though.
The employee insisted I was a cheater, and was now trying to make him look like an idiot by arguing. When I asked him to explain, he said "the transfer says 7 am not 7 pm." It obviously said 7 pm, which he too realized when explaining to me the error. So, he clearly noticed his mistake. Heres the kicker: Instead of apologizing and correcting his error, he tried to cover it up. When I asked him to give me back my transfer or let me though, he did neither. He went to the phone to lodge a complaint against me, probably for "harassment". I had no change or bills on me, so I had to walk home from the subway station. I understand people make mistakes. Everyone does. However, trying to cover them up once you have noticed your error is simply unacceptable. If it wasnt for the union, this dumbass would have probably been fired long ago. Instead, he's probably going to get a extra few dollars on his pay cheque for being harassed. | |
