Hey I RESPECT EVERYONE'S OPINION if you don't like Vista fine, if you don't it's ok but you don't have to go bashing it.

I think it's going to be the first time I actually buy an OS..

I love windows 7 for the awesome bit-cruncher effect it randomly interjects into whatever I'm watching/listening to.

properly maintained (if you know how to use a computer, maybe 5% of PC users), Vista is as good as any other Windows OS. On your typical spyware infested computer, it's probably much worse than XP.

^ seen this bug in preactivated version of vista, as well as other version of faildoze, install a real os it should go away.
after testing faildoze 7, i have drawn the conclusion WINE the windows emu on *nix, can still run my audio softwares whereas their still going for that "its old -its phased out" attitude with the new os without offering complete backward compatibility. microsoft and apple always copied *nix , choose *nix anything not openbsd is pretty much "not-reliable-at-all" in the long run... just look at what the file system offers : UFS Full name UNIX file system Introduced (4.2BSD) Structures Directory contents table Limits Max file size 2^73 bytes(8 ZiB) Max filename length 255 bytes Max volume size 2^73 bytes(8 ZiB) Supported operating systems FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD, A/UX and others

Well, Faildoze 7 is still in beta so we shouldn't be crying wolf just yet.
Pis XP est loin de gagner des concours de stabilité. Il n'y a pas un OS de parfait. Même OS X.
