so many unimportant scenes that didnt get cut from the story just my opinion i have both the ring and ringu, but i have yet to watch ringu, soon.... |

 Coolness: 686290 | well, that's what the novels turn into. (Yes, novels, and the first one that Ringu/The ring was based on was in 1992)
In pt. 1 you find out about the cursed tape that if you watch it you die 7 days later. You find out about Sadako (Samarain the remake) having been killed, having psychic powers, and wanting revenge. Pt. 2 (Ring 2/Rasen, there were 2 sequels that kept a similar theme running) you find out a scientific explenation to the deaths by it being related to smallpox. Her psychic power "infected" smallpox and made a new strain that spread through re-configuring your DNA. If you watched it and made a copy of the tape, you passed the infection on. If you didn't, you died. And then, there's a lucky few who would have a genetic match for Sadako and who would give birth to her "twin" because she was a hermaphrodite. (The story twists around in reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally weird places) Pt. 3 that's not a movie yet, you find out that Rungu and Ring2/Rasen are all actually an experiment in creating artificial reality in a computer and that was being used as a testing ground to see if people in the "real" world could use a simulation of the earth that was so acurate it would go as far as give the "fake" computer people real DNA codes that were acurate for who they were. As a result of the test, the "Ring virus" comes out into the "real" world and gets brodcast on TV. |

the movie i wish i could forget and see again, alone while on mushrooms...Event Herizon the first and last movie to really scare me and give some wicked nightmares was Deep Star Six anyone seen it??? |

| Coolness: 686290 | Event Horizon was the shit! I love that movie! I don't remember Deep Star Six, but I know I saw it (Along with all the other "Trapped in an underwater mining facility with something" movies that came out in the early 90s)
The movies that I like the most are the ones that are about human's evil, with the monsters being just a consequence. Like Hellraiser 1+2. The demons aren't doing all the evil in the movie, it's the humans. They're just there to collect the truly evil. |
