borders block the "trajet visuel"...
pat, dans ce cas-ci... ca marcherait pas vraiment... ca fuckerais les courbes du dessin... mais sinon cest pas une mauvaise idée effectivement... mettons que ma manière est loin d'être kosher mais ca m'étonnerais que alienzed monte un flyer particulièrement kosher de toute facon | |

What's a bleed on printed artwork? How big should it be and why is it needed? 1/4 of an inch is the Industry standard for the bleed, so 1/8 of an inch border. when you open a new canvas (say for a 4"x6" piece), always open it as 4.25x6.25. i find that setting up guidelines on PS as reminders greatly helps you to keep it in mind as you make your design | |

Wally is also right on the industry standard thing, québécor ask for 0.5" on their documents, I go for 0.33" smack in the middle :P | |
