Google Chrome is good, Opera too cuz u can see your last visited
websites in thumbnails from the main pages in a window or from your upper navigation bar tabs; Firefox is still the best for the plugins and add-ons ;) Internet Exploiter is pure crap.

you get an IE-tab add on for one...so when you want to browse stuff that isnt compatable with firefox, you can simply open IE in the firefox browser window. Its rather convienient for those who dont use IE very often...
checks it out [ addons.mozilla.org ]

Opera ftw! Been using it since 97 and I'm never going back to anything else..
Every browser out there now (Firefox, IE7/8, Chrome, etc..) are just trying to immitate Opera.. Opera had tabbed browsing and add/content blocking standard before 2000, built-in download manager, mouse-gestures, email program and IRC client built in.. And it's all under 10 megs.

Mozilla FireFox (IceWeasel) with safety plugins : NoScript [ noscript.net ] & CookieSafe [ addons.mozilla.org ]
Having some malicious site verificator is also pretty neat like AVG free [ free.avg.com ]

Oh yeah, the added bonus about running Opera these days is that Firefox is the all-popular browser that everyone has, so now people who write viruses and look for exploits are going after not just IE but Firefox as well.. Opera, being relativley unknown to the mass populace, is safer from browser-specific hijacks and attacks.

IMO it's the best out there. I've been using it for over 10 years and never want to use anything else. It's fast as hell, too!

Unfortunately, I jumped on the Firefox bandwagon a couple years ago after Opera started causing conflicts with my OS. Firefox had relatively the same features so I kept using it, eventually forgetting about Opera... Might give it another try.

Opera is good for people who work with digital image a lot. The zooming in feature is also cool for porn, if you can't get high res, you can still feel like the guy holding the speculum. But it mostly sucks. Page loading is sketchy and sometimes I feel like I'm using a retarded version of the internet, especially with all those useless widgets for it.
Firefox is still the best, I'd have to say, but IE doesn't merit discussion.

firefox with the no-script plugin. without it is as useless towards flash/java popunder etc as anybrowsers.
with opera you can get torrents, but is as lame towards secutity as exporer or firefox without the no-script plugin. and . .. dare to say : CHROME IS UBER SHIT , my friends over at bt reported the same overflow attack inside thats similar to explorer 1.0. if you ask me , the best browser is lynx. after is anything you can plug in no-script. Update » cutterhead wrote on Sun Mar 22, 2009 @ 8:16pm but when you tunnel thru I2P or the onion network, having a second browser thats going tru the proxy and an other thats not , to at least access the I2P management console. having a 3rd one will save you changing proxy settings from time to time for site that are strict https.
like ravewave that cant be access tru the i2p, sicne its more than http.
