 Coolness: 202150 | Well I know a lot of high level stuff which may or may not be useful depending on how much computers are used in this new society. I know nearly every music, sound and visual program and the theory to go with it. I can set up and operate sound equipment, video equipment, and I can use analog or digital cameras.
I can learn a new program/system in the computer realm in a couple of days usually. I am good at design and concept development (team me up with an engineer). I know media and advertising well (aka propaganda). I am political, and more importantly support an anarchistic community such as this. I'm good at encouraging/training/inspiring other people. I'm a good public speaker and good at giving presentations. I can cook well, know a bit about diet and health, and know a bit about some weirder things like aromatherapy and herbal medicine. Most of all I don't have a big tie to capitalist society, money, the mass media, fast food, fancy clothes, television and movies, and other crap like that so it would be easier for me to give up the old creature comforts and adapt to a new society. Interesting post as it made me think more about myself and my skills. |
