Get over it, they don't care about you. People are doing illegal things every day with no problems... I would fight the fine, even if you loose you can always fight it again 3 times over. If you fight it, the fine will never go up. Eventually there will be a no show or something and you will win. Seriously media brainwashes people. Learn to see around it, cause lately I've been seeing way way way too many people paranoid about stupid shit which isn't true. |

If no one left we could have continued the party most probably. Media really seems to work at making people scared of them. If no one left they would never have found the location. The party could go one by lowering the volume.
Seriously everyone should stop being scared of them and living their lives. It's true most police officers are full of themselves, they think they are gods but it's because that's how they are trained to be. And they train you normal people to become fuckin idiots and scared of everything you do by using the media outlets for that. No one is after you, no one cares what you do and chances are the only way anyone would ever be caught for doing something which is not in the green zone would be cause someone tattled on you or you have super duper bad luck. Stop thinking that people are following you, stop thinking that you can't do anything out of the normal and stop acting how the media tells you to act. I'm really starting to have it with people fuckin paranoiing all the time. |

 Coolness: 47920 | Back on topic, even if u have this photocopy of an adult pass and go to court with the argument u stated above, u will loose. I had contested 2 tickets in court, and saw at least a dozen of cases before mine, and everyone who pleaded ignorance or accidental mistake lost theirs cases. The best for u would be to contest, wait for the court confirmation while piling up the money (this could take a good 6 month) when u receive the confirmation, you will have the possibility to ctrl-z your contestation. Hopefully, by that time, u will have enough money to pay. U can also pay this fine with monthly payments. Good luck ! |

 Coolness: 202150 | I don't understand why people are afraid of cops.. Cops are people, they can be intimidated and controlled the same way any person can be. Just seem more in control than they are and they won't try and fuck with you.
Also if you see cops assaulting someone in a way that seems over the top, you SHOULD try and do something about it.. If you can't (which is the majority of cases since in our controlled society the cops can have handguns and we can't) you should try and document what happened ( even just write it down with every detail and the time) and inform the media and others, and post about it online and through other means. Or you could be a coward, your choice. |

The only thing that makes is not much of an issue here is that the number of cops is so small that you can go weeks without even crossing one. And if you ever run into problems, most of the time you can bail out of it with an underhanded bill or two. Just pray he's not either an incorruptible, or smarter than you (arrest you for bribing and corruption, and then extort all you have to set you free). Needless to say, if you're a gweilo, you stay low profile :) |

I will state that i did infact have the proper fare and state that my anxiety issures ( will have a doctors note ) and the aggressive nature of the stm employees induced an anxiety attack which would explain why i couldn't explain it then and there. I technically ( they can't prove i didnt' ) had the proper fare thus i really didn't break any laws. I think the court will somehow have pity on a full time student harrased to the point of a panic attack. I also have a witness and i also look like the kind of person that helps grandmothers cross the street. Didn't think i would upset this many people. Well if anyone is in a position to help me but needs some motivation , i can give you 40$. |
