I play my videos with this at home, last one I had on my old computer would remember the last playlist and would keep it when I opened the program. With my new pc, I have to drag and drop all over again the file again every time. Anyone know where that setting/option is? I cannot seem to find it, I try Googling but could not find it...

Thanks in advance! :)

my advice....
don't use windows media player at all...
get win-amp for music or vlc for video.

I used to use VLCPLayer [ www.videolan.org ]

Now I use GOM PLayer [ www.gomlab.com ] because VLC has a huge bug where you can't make your second monitor full screen and I always watch movies on my second monitor...

They both don't need codec packs which is amazing...

chroma is the best video player I have ever used for versatility (It is mac OS X only though)...

You can actually change the CODEC WHILE you are playing the video, and it's the only player that can play HD video and actually seek properly without it taking a minute to buffer the video again.
It also has options for changing the subtitle size and style which is something I have not seen anywhere and it has a sharpness filter that makes HD movies look outstanding. I use stuff like VLC normally but if I get an MKV file of an anime with subtitles or something else esoteric this one rules.
I'm feeling meow right now..

Yeah but the question was

Can any of those player remember your playlist without having to save a list.

Windows Media player was doing it before and now it stopped. Why, how can she fix that?

vlc does remember playlists, so does iTunes...
for vlc to remember it, drag the files to media library instead of playlist

also for Noah, the new VLC plays on my external monitor np, the fix for the BUG tho was to drag the controller window to the screen you wanted full.
I'm feeling will dj for money right now..
