Rudolph Burger At Frite Alors

 Coolness: 87225 | I am next door to Frite Alors and *damn* hungry. I am tempted to try the Rudolph burger. I had elk steak once in Germany and it was verrrrry good, but that was at a really nice restaurant and not some franchise.
anyone had this Caribou burger at Frite? |

but last time i went to the frite alors on dst.denis, they guy gave me shit for not tipping him enough... the dude never even got my friends' coffee, and i'm broke. it might be bad form to leave a cheap tip once in a while, but it's even worse to follow a customer out the door and harass him about why he didn't tip exactly 15%. life is hard there crappy serving guy, deal will it |

| Coolness: 87225 | ya I generally never tip at fast food places - I always leave a good tip though at bars and restaurants. the service would have to be extremely rude for me not to leave a tip.
which reminds me - the place across from Rapido - damn the one guy who works there is a prick. after I left a really good tip for fish and chips for takeout, I ask for ketchup and he gives me 1 or 2 packs which is not nearly enough for a big order of fish&chips. i asked him for some more and this surly douchebag says to me ... “what are you moving? you stocking up?“ I threw the pack of ketchup back over the counter at him and left. unbelievable, this guy. *never* going back to that place. I personally love all their little tasty different kinds of mayo with the fries at Frite Alors - Indonesian one is the bomb. Na - he followed you out?? how bad was the tip??? lol |

| Coolness: 167265 | lol...i left him like 75 cents instead of 1.42$ or whatever...yeah, he followed me to the door and asked if the service was that bad, giving some bullshit about paying it out of his pocket if i didn't give him his 15%...i told him i was also poor, that his meal was expensive enough. i should've mentioned that he ignored my friends' order, but i was taken by surprise.
but besides that one incident, alwasy pleased w/ frite alors. even though it is a bit pricey, the food is good. |

I fully understand him asking about the service but the lame excuse that came right after ? I'm sorry but fuck him. I understand it's preferable to tip appropriately whenever possible but this guy's behavior is just as inappropriate. Honestly, fuck that shit if it's coming out of his pockets. If NO clients are tipping 15%, maybe your crappy ass attitude towards clients is the reason you're getting shit all. Don't blame your clients for this. If the occasional client doesn't tip the full 15%, maybe your greedy ass would be better served moving to France where the tip is automatically included in the price of food... or just get a fucking job that doesn't deal with commission or tips. Nobody forced you to get this job and imposing that personal decision on clients is despicable. |
