ya it's really cool. next place I want to go to is Gaspe, or the Bay of Fundy

back home in Hamilton / Ancaster though there was lots of really nice woodlands around, really close to home. it's the Escarpment - same cliffs that Niagara Falls are part of.

these falls below were a 10 minute walk from my house - really beautiful there.

but if you follow the Bruce Trail up north to Lion's Head it gets even better

Count me in! I LOVE camping! :) I have all the required equipment (tent and such) so I don't need to rent anything. We need to talk more about it, the cost and all, but I'm really interested.
I'm feeling laugh my ass off right now..

luke peril, starting from montreal, you have to go throug quebec city, up to riviere du loup, then down to new Brunswick, by Fredericton and moncton, shediac, then bayfield, then you must take the confederation bridge to go to the prince edouard island, then go to the other end of the island to Souris, take the boat (250$ 1 way trip, 500$ back and forth, from PEI to les Iles)

13 hours car, 5 hours boat. 17-18 hours to go there

500$ + 26 hour car gas, (5-600$, depending on your car, and the stock you bring ect.)

just to get there and come back, its around 1000$, then you have to stay there, rent a house or go camping, eat, ect.

but its worth it, if you have like 2 weeks , because if you dont drive all the way through, it takes 2 day to get there

Heres where I've camped recently:

ok so its not a tent, but theres room outside for tents and theres a teepee!

Theres a taxi van which goes out there from montreal and back every second day cycling, cost is 108 one way. Or ten hours of driving/a day hitchiking. Riviere A Claude near Saint Anne Des Monts!
I'm feeling makes no sense right now..

I've been to Ile-aux-Coudres once and it was amazing. Me and my friends found a spot right next to the beach and sea (there, the St-Laurent isn't a river anymore, it's the sea). It was absolutely free to camp, it was savage and at the same time near everything needed: sea (for the amazing sunsets), SAQ (for the booze), grocery and restaurant (for the munchies). Good times, I tell you.

We have to see how much people are willing to pay, but this could be a nice low-budget option.
