une news musicale qui fait mal dans le porte-feuille: " Complètement fou! Joel Tenenbaum, éudiant américain de 25 ans, doit payer 675 000$ US pour avoir "violé" les droits d’auteur de 30 chansons. Ce montant représente donc 22 500$ par chanson...de 1$. Il a été "chanceux", car le montant maximum est de 150 000$ par chanson. Le futur docteur en physique a avoué avoir téléchargé 800 chansons entre 1999 et 2007, pendant son adolescence et au collège. Si le verdict tient en appel, il n’aura pas le choix de déclarer faillite. Une vie partiellement brisée avant même qu’elle ne commence. Peu importe si vous pensez que le téléchargement de musique est légitime ou non, il y a quelque chose de complètement absurde dans ce genre de poursuites. C’est comme si on choississait au hasard un individu et qu’on s’attaquait à lui pour en faire un exemple. Si on est d’accord avec le principe que le téléchargement est illégal et innacceptable, pourquoi ne s’attaque-t-on pas aux distributeurs de masse plutôt qu’à l’utilisateur ordinaire, qui est souvent un fan de musique et qui risque au moins d’aller voir des concerts ?
