WTF, we play 1 good period per game, the first and then it seems the team starts jerking each other off and forgets how to play. Good news is we get tanguay back on the 21st and the trade deadline is comming, I can see a ew of our youngsters changing teams, hopefully we can get a decent centre and/or a defenceman capable of playing at the point on the PP. One thing I find funny though is how fucking bipolar most habs fans are. Pierrot is a perfect example, the team wins and they are hockey gods, they start losing and we have the worst season ever and need to trade the entire fucking team... uh huh! Trade Kovy + Youngsters, get J-Bo or someone along those lines, along with a decent forward, ideally a big centreman, not necessarily a superstar, but someone who's big and isnt afraid to bring the pain, I was thinking Dougg Weight but he got injured :( |

I think your right about the big centerman. Marty Reasoner would be a good guess for a deadline pick up. He played with Laraque in edmonton. I also like Antroprov and Sillinger. All would slide in quite nicely to a checking role when Lang comes back. In the back Morris, Kubina and Kuba will all be available for much less and fit into the cap picture for future years much better than does Boumeister. Getting Boumeister will likely cost Komeseric + the Kostitsyns; I dunno if Gainey will do it unless he knows he can sign him long-term. |
