| consitency isn't the problem the problem is playing together as a team skating faster and stop making shitty passes. More shots on net i mean look at teday nite that just passed 3rd period 7 shots on goal for habs and NYR like close to 20 shots on goal....I mean they need to PLAY AS A TEAM i love my habs but i am so dissapointed in them for the way they r playing go habs go |

| So, Gainey as a coach didn't change shit. I guess it's a clear indication that it's the TEAM that's the problem.
Like Lynzyn said, the Canadiens look like they've been skating on fucking tar or have cement-lined skates or some shit this season.
They are slow, sluggish and indeed just don't seem to coalesce as a full fledged team. They're playing more defensively than anything and when they occasionally go for offense, they pass with the precision of a drunken monkey on LSD.
I can't count the number of times I've seen passes to absolutely no one, not even to the sides, just to any random empty space on the ice. In offense. Very productive. |

| true enough eh, they seem to want to get rid of the puck once they aren't losing or ahead, which doesn't happen often.
But yeah, so often a player gets the puck, and no one is a round him but he just clears it or passes to some guys way too far away. |
