What the fuck is wrong with this movie? It looked so magical by the cover, but the whole movie is just torture, gore, and that asshole of a captain. Even the fairy tale is bullshit. She eats 2 grapes so is banished? That seems so harsh. What a piece of shit movie. These last 38 minutes better have a happy fucking ending or Im gonna lose it.

happytacular.
I liked the movie. The ending made me unhappy but I don't think the point of a movie has to be happy... I'll never forget the part where the beautiful dark haired resistance woman (I can't remember her name) slashes the captain and saves the day.. she was so <3

I think that the little girl in Pan's labyrinth is building herself an imaginary world the whole time. At the end, she dies and hallucinates herself going to her kingdom. That's the way I saw it!

the world she created is in her head.
She created a world where she is special (she's a princess) and where she has a purpose and where she is wanted, needed. As oppose to where she truly is in her life. When she dies, she goes to her paradise, which is the world she created herself. Update » Shindy wrote on Tue Feb 3, 2009 @ 9:28am it's movie interpretation time ...
Could someone please explain Suicide club for me :S

Both are valid explanations (the movie can be enjoyed by both kids and adults for this reason). As for Suicide Club, there's your explanation: it's a cheaply written, absurd movie. The Asian equivalent of [ feardot.com ] or other computer/murder movies made in the US.
