Oh hello.

Are you tired of that wimpy sound comming out of your bass? Are you fed up by the fact you'll never get laid because your bass guitar sounds like a bumble-bee stuck in a tin can? Well my friend, your worries end here with the Ampeg SVP-CL bass pre-amp. As soon as you hook it up, a party will start in your speakers as the classic Ampeg sound invades your ears. Trust me, you'll be all like KAAKOW! Your sex-appeal will be increased by 33.3% on stage and even in studio! You will totally bust the Rock-o-meter with that great amount of good rockness this unit brings. Who knows? It might even cure global warming according to the butterfly effect and I'm not talking about that lousy movie with Ashton Crutcher (you might end up having as much sex as he does by purchasing this unit in the next 15 minutes).

So think about it; do you want to keep on living such a miserable life or do you wanna rock it to the max for only 375$?

Ampeg ftw!

I wish I could get use out of my Marshall.. It doesn't sound like the sound I'm looking for, but it's just such a good amp I keep talking myself out of getting rid of it..

Know anyone that wants a late 60s JMP? :P

Duuuude, you'll loose ALL your sex-appeal you sell your Marshall. But if I hear someone looking for one, I'll surely let you know...DON'T sell it... But if yer talking about getting a Mesa Dual rectifier, then I'd encourage the ridance of the marshall

hehe man at this point I don't think I'd be playing out, I just want to record stuff.. Though a dual rectifier would be rather nice..

this thing is a total mystery.. I've posted it on some amp-snob forums before including pics of it and people are totally stumped.. The serial number is stamped in, but it doesn't follow traditional Marshall numbering style, so all I know is it's a JMP Tremolo 20, but there's like no record of them existing online..

8812A
the A = 1969-1970
I guess 8812 is the serial number..

but there's no model number, it's just written Tremolo 20 on the back..

I used to just use it with a Digitech RP2000 going into it, but when that thing died, I got left with a couple of shitty distortions that sound nothing like I want.. (Rectifire 7-string detuned industrial metal ftw \m/ )

Sweeeeet! How did you get that amp?

Could you tell me what is that amp-snob website? I have an old Fender Princeton and i want to get the blue prints of it and i know it's not the original speaker inside (want to get the original speaker because it's way too dark with the one inside the box).

Have you tried Radial Tonebone Tri-mode pedal? Awesomesauce! Best disto pedal I've heard.

I totally don't remember which sites I went to.. I've been trying to get a good ID on what the amp is for years.. Got it from someone that was looking for money for drugs and didn't want to play bass anymore, so she wanted to sell me both of them for 200$, but I already had a bass at the time so I only wanted the amp.. so I got it for 100$ :P

It's not mint, and it's in need of some work and a checking out by someone who knows what the fuck they're doing.. but I've also got the original cabinet that goes with it..

Haven't gotten around to trying any distortions or anything at all really in a long time.. I've barely played guitar in the past 6 years, maybe a grand total of 30 minutes, let alone been able to go out looking for pedals :P

as soon as my new soundcard comes in, I'm gonna be getting some strings and cleaning up the 7-string and giving Guitar Rig a thurough workout!
