Can't say I hear it but it does make a difference.
That's why basist put shakers on their benches, to compensate that feeling you have with rich subtone content | |

Your example is totally schizophrenic.
Bind peoples hear better because there full attention is dedicated to hearing. From your site: "The normal range of human hearing is about 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz // Human speech is usually 500 - 3,000 Hz." | |

read head noise supression hands on thechnique on analog device if source is a tape.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ orginal signal 100 hz recording noise 900hz 1 ) you need to drop the speed of the payback tape by half ; this will make the playback at 50hz , while maintaining the recording noise 900hz combined with 50hz. ; this is so that, when playback will play at normal speed , thus the 100hz signal playing, ; what will happenned to the noise is that it will be doubled its frequency in hopes of pushing it ; above the hearing zone. so normal playback 100hz plays with 1600hz noise instead of 900hz. 2) according to this recording techniques low frequency are used to preseve the whole recording sice everything drop half or bigger fraction could be attained too, ( ie 1/8 to x8 the noise floor ) if you have a multiple transitor injection stage ( ie 12 push pull transitors ) then you can maintain the sinal EXACTLY UNAFFECTED even if its warped from original-to-elongated-to-original. so please databoy verify your information before calling people shyzo , you could be the one in the wrong, esp. when your the one asking why they make 6hz gear , then covering your ears when we try to explain. | |

I wasnt asking why they make ear buds go as low as 6hz... I'm pretty sure i know who that info is directed to. I have no idea whats you are talking about with your head noise supression, and how that aplys to human biology, or music for that mater. If you where to swear that you could see the infra-red in a picture, i wouldnt be enclines to believe you. Unless you have super powers. Update » databoy wrote on Tue Jan 13, 2009 @ 12:53pm Head noise as in analog tape head noise?

Dude, i dont have to know how to take apart a dolby sr to make music or even to use it.
Analog mastering, yeah, a few peoples are still doing it... mainly because they paied a few millions for there studios 20 years back and havent kept up with technologie. The lower threshold of human hearing is 20hz, if you dont agree, i couldnt care less. When i want to supress the noise generated by my computer, i turn it off. under your pic btw. calling people shizo, or reading textbook without hands on shows lots. have you ever tested your hearing under 20hz ? i doupt that you would. you rely on the technology given and you care less about frequency trix. yea, i dont want to talk to you to. bliss blood runs along in the 30s | |

Wow, the shizo comment realy hit home... dude, the bird in wilderness examples was just too disconected from reality.
Believe what you want... i have been working with sound professionaly for 10 years. If you can hear/use inaudible sounds, good for you. I mix for the majority of listeners, not the exeptions, or the whales and elephants. Stop thinking, because you use a scope, you know the secret of the universe. | |
