here is a guy who makes a Ghetto TALK box with the DSlite:
i wish they made one that would work with the DS HEADSET that would be fucking incredible! still the straw idea works well and its a cool cheap hack to show friends :D here is a demo of the KORG Ds-10 band at TOKYO GAME show ! here is someone playing DA FUNK (daft punk) on da same device as above : the drums seem to suck but ive heard song where the kick is distorted in a way it sounds usable! anyways this is only the beginning! we need more memory and Sample playback and were in bizness! also the ds audio device aint that great so maybe next gen handheld console will use a better sounds chip ! also i want support of the headset for Voice FX, sampling and TALk box maybe :D or just a voice changer would be fun

ive been wanting to get a DS for this game alone.
theres peeps on ebay selling it, but havent found a ds cheap enough to buy yet.... would be worth buying just for bus ride time killing alone. but could also be a fun addition to sum live act...

indeed! at least for the synth sound! i have problems with cheaps drums tho! i love it as an effect but i need the real hard drums behind the lofi 8bit synths

i have it, and the drums sounds like complete crap, the sequencing is completely illogical, you cant do any automation, and can only have 2 synth, with 1 osc each.
it sucks. | |

i actually like it for what it is, really fun but really useless at the same time. nice to have on the go but this will not give you phat tracks easily. (or at all) |

you cant even do longer or shorter than 1/4 beat notes

yeah it's pretty limited. but you can easily modify the drums with the basic tools given..
and for the note length.. haven't figured it out either but with the envelope generator you can get some cool stuff going.. if i ever finish a track with that thing i'll try and post it up haha |

yeah, with the release, but its not the same thing, and you always have to re-do your drums patterns every 4 beats, thats annoying.
even when you change the sounds, you cant get a decent hi-hat, snares are just white noise, and the kick sucks ass, dont even think about having a crash cymbal! maybe i ha too much expectation, they advertised it as a revolution, but its nowhere near anything useful.

awww dialect your too fast i was coming asking the same thing ehaheaheah!

I finally got to made a track with it, tweaked a lot of the original drums and made this whole thing in pretty much one hour. Really a cool software, I'll mess with it more.
Check it out : [ www.projectmayhem.ca ] random 140 bpm kinda trancey track but not really 8) |
