I remember surfing channels on NYE and seeing the NYE parties in most big cities across the world and marveled at how Montreal has SHIT ALL activities for NYE. No party in the streets or park, no fireworks, no massive countdown, no NOTHING. No wonder I hate the Holidays, Montreal SUCKS BIG TIME for them. |

Well, I checked out the New York City New Years Celebration in Times Squares on CNN on the 31st, it was like -20 degrees Celsius out there and there was still a crapload of people there so I think the sheer lack of ANYTHING GOING ON is more likely to stop us from celebrating the new year, not the cold. :) |
