[ mathworld.wolfram.com ]

this might help :)

(notice the fail in it though, it's a math page, with 4 illustrations, and it says right below: "There are a number of mathematical curves that produced heart shapes, three of which are illustrated above" ...hahaha)
I'm feeling you up right now..

Step 1)Go to 2nd, Format, AxesOff.
Step 2)Go to Window. Set the following.
Xmin=-1.88
Xmax=1.88
Ymin=-1.2
Ymax=1.7

Leave the others alone.

Step 3)Go to Y=, and set the following
Y1=abs(X)-(square root sign)(1-X2)
Y2=abs(X)+(square root sign)(1-X2)

To get the "abs" part, press Math, go to Num, then abs.
To get the square root sign, press 2nd, then the "2"(squared) key.

Step 4)Press 2nd, Quit.

From here on, it's optional. If you do these, your heart will be filled in instead of just an outline.

Step 5)Press 2nd, Draw, Shade.
Step 6)Press Vars, go to Y-Vars, Function, Y1
Step 7)COMMA (,)
Step 8)Press Vars, go to Y-Vars, Function, Y2
