If you aren't aware of what this shit-tastic film is. Two losers go to this dude's rich uncle's house and end up killing him by mistake, but in order for him to inherate everything, Bernie would have to a) be alive to write him into the will and b) die in front of people in a way that isn't incriminating. Now the guys walk around with Bernie's corpse the whole movie pretending he's still alive. Funny shit ensues and the movie makes it to the end without anything too studpid happening... until they made the SEQUEL! Now Bernie walks around BY HIMSELF and even goes on a PRIVATE vacation of his own!!! COME ON!!! THE DEAD DO NOT WALK, unless we're talking zombie movies. From humping the sand, to getting up on his own, walking on his own to even doing a conga line on his own, nobody there to "hold him up" This movie is a disgrace to this earth and should be removed from shelves to prevent any further embarassment. Please die, literally. |

Shit flicks like that are entertaining because they totally suck! I even remembered renting that piece of crap (the sequel) years ago with my sister cuz we remembered how bad it was in the 1st place and we had a blast because it was sooooo bad. It's basically like renting a Chuck Norris movie nowadays: will you genuinely enjoy it? Nah, you'll laugh at the cheezy lines he pulls, the bad SFX and fights, and the fact that they made several sequels of a concept that was totally embarassing in the fist place. Cheer up matey and take it sleazy! |

 Coolness: 77390 | Weekend at Bernie's is great, the first one at least. The second one, umm... yeah I remember being rather enraged, but you don't have to rent or watch it, plus there are tons of shitty pieces of dialogue that are sample friendly. Nobody will be able to place them, and when they ask you where it came from they'll crack up.
The whole movie (first one) is on Youtube: I love the scene where he chases the guy while kicking his ass, literally. |

| Coolness: 132275 | back in the day.... remember going to the rental store, and of all the vhs copys in the comedy section only that piece of shit serie was there next to ALF the Alphalpha and Who Shagged roger rabbitt ? i remember leaving empty handed so many rentals stores pissed off for havin cheeze selections,
i remember havin that much pride and care for what i watched, but then remember when your gf came back from whereever, and said : there wasnt anything at the rental store so i rented this ... haha i hate when ppl compromise for the worse like that :D |
