I remember a Christmas party that didn't go too well, and I puked all over my coat. I had to wash it three times to get the smell out, and I destroyed some of the buttons and the inside of the coat.
Needless to say, puke is a bitch, and cleaners cost a lot.

Hand clean it, dude, or deal with the drycleaning fees :)
But to be fair, that does seem expensive. Last time I had a coat cleaned, didn't cost me over $20, IIRC.

i loooove dry cleaning...
but yeah where you live is pretty much what's gonna determines the price... like in nyc it was so cheap! mtl is not that bad if my memories are good.. where have you been? now i need to pay so much money for minimal works.. i collection vintage dresses as hobby and it's cost me more than 20$-30$ a piece sometimes./// beaded dresses are the worse because they always make me sign a form saying that my dress will maybe melt & return looking like crap but that i'm not gonna sue them... yeah right.. i suppose it's because majority of people here don't care about beautiful garments they just go buy cheap wall mart shitty clothes and then after 10 months they throw it.. i don't know... ps: yeah cat puke is not great but there's different kind of cat puke... mines are puking solid so it's pretty easy... but there's worse in life when i see my friends with all their babies it's quite frightening... ewwwwwwww Update » Holly_Golightly wrote on Tue Dec 9, 2008 @ 12:44pm ^ danmmm who would have think i have so much to say about that matter. wow

yup. I have a Cashmere topcoat - I have to get it dry cleaned at a reputable place or it would get ruined. but this time I took it into this place at Rachel and Hotel De Ville. in Toronto they charged me 60 bucks to clean it (had to get this cherry syrup off of it - long story), here it was 25. forget the name of the place but they are good and fast |
