Commas Before And After "and"

 Coolness: 94185 | I forget when to use a comma after the word "and" or "but." Can someone explain it to me?
Like I know when you use it before: I like candy, gum, and haircuts. I want to eat candy, but I have diabetes But, when does does it go after the "but" and "and?" On a side note, Im quitting drugs forever. This is fucking ridiculous. |

this example "But, when does does it go after the "but" and "and?"" is barely correct ; rather use However instead of But, if you wanna put a comma here. |
