I mean, it's sort of great for long range but I just love sledgehammering their faces while they struggle reloading the damn thing. I get the occasional one with miniguns, which is great, but these guys are pretty damn hard to take down ( unless you use a sniper rifle who's ammo is damn well non-existant ) especially on an open street with no cover. |

I just walked towards Big town and I had it completed 15-steps past Spingvale. Muhuhahaha! :p But I totally agree with you about the rubble nonsense. It feels cheap to not be able to explore those parts of the map, or even how 90% of buildings are just up for display. On the other hand, if everything was explorable, the game would be way to big. |

Yeah but see, I thought if I fast travelled just north of this location, I'd walk about 3 minutes and be there. Alas no. I was looking at the map and figured I'd have to swim across the river and die of radiation poisoning before I got there... until I realized there was a building in the water just west of the sewers. I mean, the thing is practically an island, yet if you look at the map, it seems like a big empty pool of water. I'll know for next time. At least, I have explored several places I can fast travel to. SOME good had to come from all that walking around aimlessly. LOL. As for the rubble, what I dislike is the fact that right across from it is another explorable section, it's just that you have to get to it by going the long way around. If the rubble prevented me from going into an area where there's nothing ( like, outside of the map entirely ), I wouldn't have a problem with that. It's clear they were strategically placed so you don't do all the quests in an hour and you're done. Still, they're a bit of a hindrance at times. |

heading to the radio with the super big mutant. but i exploded myself with a mine boohoo... i just hope the dude isnt screwing me up, or imma kill him and blow his megaton place out of the map! |
