| Coolness: 686265 | I dunno about that, but from what I'd heard in a developer interview months back, if you blow it up you get access to a whole new area of the game; citties/quests/people that you can't get to any other way, to make up for the fact that you destroyed an important quest hub.. |

In the end as long as you don't blow up Megaton, or kill anyone right at the moment you see them, there's a good chance you'll be able to complete, or at least have access to most of the missions. |
