WHY THE FUCK IS EVERYTHING SO OVERPACKAGED THESE FUCKING DAYS, I MEAN FOR FUCKS SAKE, IS IT TOO COMPLICATED TO GO MINIMAL? EVERYTHING IS SO FUCKING SEALED AND WRAPPED THAT HALF OF THE FUCKING SHIT WE BUY THESE DAYS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN WITHOUT FUCKING SIZORS OR KNIVES OR FUCKIN TEETH~! I MEAN JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, YOU THINK THE COMPANIES DONT WANT YOU TO FUCKING OPEN OR ENJOY ANYTHING YOU FUCKING BUY!

FAWK!

Ufot-everynow and then, a guy has gotta rant

This is all because of a cyanide poisoning scare in the U.S. in the 80s or 90s, I don't recall specifically. Tylenol bottles were spiked and created quite a commotion. The FDA required seals to be added.

Why they are virtually unbreakable now remains to be answered. I remember purchasing a bottle of, ironically enough, Tylenol recently and I tried to use my age old trick of driving my index finger's knuckle through the seal but instead of breaking, it just bent and imprinted my knuckle instead.

You'd think those fucking annoying twist caps were security enough but no, a practically unbreakable seal is also needed.

I'm way more pissed off at those semi-hard clear plastic packaging that every item seems to be packaged in. Like 2 AA batteries for instance. You have to use a blowtorch to get 2 friggin' batteries out of their packaging.

Food I can understand but why are batteries packaged in practically bullet-proof plastic ???

that would be so much more awesome if someone ordered it and it arrived packaged in an ultra-industrial strength version of that semi-hard, clear, plastic packaging that it's designed to open.
I'm feeling new records right now..

Now, why do i have a feeling that's EXACTLY what's bound to happen ?

I have a feeling they write on the package " Can't open packages like THIS ONE ? Do not fret, this will be the last one you'll have trouble with ! "...

... only to realize it's nothing more than a glorified X-Acto.

Your answer wouldn't be the same if each of your individual condoms were packaged the same way now, would it ?
