good call. We should get ourselves a machine to recycle them and re-reprint new ones. That'd be slick. So many vinyls of Zamphir would be put to good use
I'm feeling lonely right now..

The law have been adopted since vinyls records are ''desuettes'' and very polluative. .

does anybody knows anything about that??????????

I've always wondered about the pollutive side of vinyl,

Cause once a vinyl is scratched or broken, its basically garbage,

And there are probably hundreds of thousands of tons of records sitting in landfills polluting the environment as we speak!

Food for thought...

"gold disk sent on voyager, by NASA" - HOW THE FUCK WILL WE READ THE ALIENS BOMBTRACK SEND BACK TO US ??? - neko

geeze vinyl is 100% recyclable in vinyl plant. if you would know better REGRIND (the name of recycled vinyl cut & old record) is better plastic than raw material. one better reason to keed old rene simard and vilage de nathalie or life is life cheeze vinyl so you can remelt them into better.

i think you are all victims of the echo-terra-first-scare.

your cd cant do that, cds are way more polutive, the physical read concept of stilus audio reading
could be compressed even more, and they wouldnt use crazy kripton gas / argon gas / and the like for the laser optical lense consentrator in optical cd pickups, dont give me that eco-save-a-whale bullshit.

there are pepsi bottles / water bottle that most of the scene dont even recycle when you party.
so what everyour saying, you are still true about phasing out of resources for everybody,
unless you all start fucking like rabbits like in 1910-1920 and have 12 kids families so you will at least live you last days with a proper comminity payback of retirement, and social expansion.

so whatever like i said, you might phase vinyl but you cant phase out the mechanism, and unless there is a team offort to actually EXTINCT the theory and concep and usage, there is no way you wont have a backwards compatible working disk that act like an ol LP you what to use on a sl 1200

and one more note : worklife of a product is 30 years , halflife is guaranteed normal insurable time life of an appliance, since technics and pickup compagnies are making them as of today, you can add 15yeas to 2008 MINIMUM to be warped out the picture and thats if they kill it tomorrow.

this is a professionnal certification here, and i have personnal references to my affirmation.

neko

the weaks follow thrends, and go with the mass, only true spirit pushj the limits.
old vinyl you should keep, logarithmic laser reader for lps have been developed,
so noah i dont think your rite on that one about thrashing them, even cut vinyl can be corrected.

yall not keeping up to date i see. shame on yall
I'm feeling this field isnt long right now..

and its with that attitude that survival agaist the industry will prevail, since you are part of the industry as a customer, you then become the industry.

i have about 35-40 vinyl i payed 100 eu each *yes a hundred* so it would be pretty stupid to flamed them up dont you think. records are memories, some collect pictures, some collect harddrives that use current, i use a piece of undecomposable polynaphtalenes that in case of survival you can take a cone of paper, a needle and a motorised apparatus (a bike wheel and pedal mabe) to turn nature's horror, and VOILA! i can play my sixsixtysix and cosmix baby/csr straight with no electricity, only human energy.

The end of the world always comes at these nice, round numbers.. 2000, 12/12/2021... Why can't the end of the world be, like, July 15th 2047?

i know a software / reader that can read warped, scratched vinyls, virtualisation helps.

thou you can have your opinion on time / effort nuclear.

sometimes a vinyl with a properly skipping speach can sound even better, and that come only tru over usage
