But the majority is a lot more easily-accesible to the mainstream than, say, speedcore, hardcore, or the harder end of the drum and bass spectrum.. I'd imagine my parents and grandparents having an easier time listening to/enjoying a night of even the most obscure/abstract Prog than a night of this (skip to the 1:30 mark)
I'm feeling over 9000 right now.. |

Very true dude, I still browse that mix u made for my show, honnestly I can't say I've heard anything like it since, maybe even before it for that matter... I definitely know that you appreciate obscure genres, as should all :) Ufot-luv the beat, it will luv u back

Wow, are he now debating the artistic relevance of the varius sub-categories of electronic music? Kewl! The fact that a sub-genre is un-palateble to the mainstreem public does not make it any more important or relevant artisticaly. If only it where that simple. I guess if you are trying to distinguish yourself, choosing a niche like speedcore, hardcore and the likes will garanty that there arent to many fish in your small pond. But your social relevance may also be diminished. Every creator works for different reasons, dispite the styles. The real artists eventualy end up shinning through. Ironicaly, drum amd bass is used way more often in commercials than trance.
