"Sounds like a washing machine spinning over and over again..." And sometimes I hear this : "Wow! What's the song playing? It's awesome!" The common thing is that Tekno music was playing when it happened. So I'm VERY proud to present you a set that I've cooked with love and passion that is a kind of a medley of my influences since I've put my first Tek record on my decks. P.S: Already, I can tell you that it's missing some Happy Hardcore. =( |

Coming from an average listener --who listens to a lot of techno, electro, and acid, I have to say that your set had great tracks, but lacked a lot of mixing. I am quite familiar with a lot of the tracks you used, and I've heard them played way better in different set than what I just heard from yours. I'd love to give you positive feedback, but all I can say is try to be more creative with your mixing. Again, I liked your track selection, but I didn't like your mixing... At all. P.S: Where was shooting star? |

I know i've got a lot of work to do on my mixing since I put all my energy into speedmixing in the past and it resulted in a lack of creativity that I'm working on nowadays.(and since Cegep and Job ruin all my pratice times...) I'll send another mix here soon more specific on genres next time. This one was pretty much fulfilled with known songs and old ones too (cmon...bitches from hell is hell of an old song). And since the Tek/Hard Tek sound of 2008 is different, it deserves to get played :) P.S. Shooting star...wait WHAT? :O Why did I forget this piece of art? :O haha |
