i wouldn't put him in the same category as trent though... they have completely different types of brilliance... trents is both technical and musical... and manson is more of an idea man if you look at it. he seems alot more like a conductor/ fine artist who is wants to create a spectacle rather than a writer or musician. like if you look at when he blew up with smells like children... he did it with an album that was mostly compiled of covers and rmx's rather than original material. he really sold the world on his image rather than music. which you have to admit is quite brilliant on a different completely different level than trent. really good product branding if you ask me. he does what he does... and does it well. not to mention he got to shag rose mcgowan... and she's got killer jugs. |
