...as metaphorically as posibly (in my point of veiw)... ... "why boil water for pasta when all it really takes is lifting 4 corners and pressing 2 minutes" people care about themselfs to much... media influence people in a coercive manner where people forget what there main objectives or priorities are and by munipulating people into beliving 'whats best for them, or best thing going for them, (cosmetics,deisgner clothing, the need to pay 3 dollars more on each bottle of shampoo because you belive it makes your hair shiner because the girl on the commercial said so, etc...) and because of this effect media and advertisement has on a society (or culture)people have started caring about the wrong things...and forgot about all the important things, image is to important, and because of that people spend more time caring about how they look,how they walk, and how people percive them... and last but not least, if nobody cares anymore...why should you start caring if no one else is giving a fuck. people care about themselfs to much, even though were all pretty much worthless... oh, i forgot... *ignorence is bliss* |

 Coolness: 121615 | To care about something or somebody is an emotion... and like everything else, our emotions can change from one moment to another. You can't say that somebody just doesn't care if you don't include the time factor. You could be caring about somebody at a specific period of time.. and 3 weeks later not give a fuck about them, only to realise that "wait, i DO care about that person" 2 days after.
It's also a state of mind that is constantly changing, depending on how we feel at the moment, depending on what's going on in our life, depending on what our job is, depending on who our friends are... All those things combined can and do influence us to the point where we can say.. "I don't care about this, or I care about that". Also, we are constantly influenced by the god damn televison. Even tho we may think that the story is always presented in a neutral way.. the TV stations will eventually accomplish what they want.. make us chose one side of the story, or make us care more about one specific product and not some other one that serves the same purpose. Not caring is also refusing responsability. It's running away from your problems.... and you know the saying.. "it's easier to run away from your problems than face them". But then again, if you try to care about everything and everyone, then you're the one who's gonna go completely insane.. being conscient about everything that's going on around us, and trying to understand it, would make anyone jump off the nearest bridge. I don't know what was the biggest mistake of the humanity but I find our society just ridiculous. We could have been so much more technicly advanced if there weren't so many religions and wars. I have so much more to say but I'm gonna keep this at a reasonable leinght so that most of you don't get bored after 5 minutes. Peace! |
