i think there's a whole bunch of reasons why most people don't care/act like they don't care/don't want to admit to themselves they care/hide so they don't have to care...but mainly i think not caring is just easier, because when we care and see all the shit that's going on, we feel powerless BUT there are lots of people who do care...i care if people are sad, even if i don't know them...i care about suffering/injustice/the environment/starvation/people/the world/everything So i'm starting with myself... |

If not everyone thought that they're alone and that no one cares, then people would know that people do. It's our own thoughts of others' indifference that causes them to be indifferent. If we didn't think that everyone who ever speaks to us on the bus is some kind of psycho who's trying to rape us, then we might see that some of them are just trying to start up some meaningless - or not - chit chat, to make their bus ride more fun. I feel it I have a purpose in this life and it's not to work 9-5 at [ BoringFuckingLife.Com ] There's a reason why i've experienced the things i have...the choices i've made are helping me see my purpose. I believe that there are many things happening in the world that are WRONG....we are so used to saying "oh..poor them over there..." but we don't do shit. Well, I'm working towards changing shit. It's gonna take time and energy but at least I'm gonna try...fuck that...I WILL change some shit. I have to start with myself though. |
