I don't remember if I'd told you some to watch before.. If not, then...
Return of the Living Dead, at the very least the first one, the 2nd is good, too, and so is the 3rd, but everything after (Necropolis and Rave to the Grave) are just really, really, really bad. Braindead/DeadAlive is amazing (north american release is called DeadAlive, european release is called Braindead) I think I may have told you to watch the whole Evil Dead trilogy.. I really can't recomend them enough, even though they're NOT ZOMBIES, they're DEMONS that posses people, they're absolutely the most must-watch movie serries.. the first Evil Dead is more of a straight-up, serious horror movie, the 2nd one is more of a comedy-horror, and the third one is called Army of Darkness, and that's more of an action-comedy (and that's the movie that I got Screwhead from!) and they're all amazing. Bruce Campbell is a god. Another amazing one is Lucio Fulci's movie, Zombi. Also goes by Zombie Flesh Eaters, Zombie 2.. It's supposed to be an unofficial sequel to Dawn of the Dead, but really it's just an amazing zombie movie, with a great scene involving a giant wooden splinter... Dellamorte Dellamore (AKA Cemetary Man) is probably the most artistic and beautiful zombie movie ever made (and I'm not just saying that 'cause of the chick's awsome boobage).. It's really amazingly shot, has a really cool story, and has a great mindfuck of an ending..

Unless you're a 12 year old girl, you shouldn't be getting nightmares.. Evil Dead 1 is the scariest of the bunch, the rest are, for the most part, horror-comedy.. Evil Dead trilogy is absolutely a must-watch..
Return of the Living Dead, at the very least get the 1st one.. Not only is it my absolute favorite zombie movie (it's the one that got me hooked on zombies) but it's also got the greatest strip-scene known to man.. Linnea Quigley is like the hottest woman ever in this movie, and she spends like 90% of her screen time 100% totally buck-ass nekkid.. DeadAlive is also totally amazing, it's one of Peter Jackson's first movies.. As un-zombie-related as it is, if you can get your hands on Meet the Feebles, you should watch that first, then DeadAlive.. Meet the Feebles is the movie Peter Jackson made to finance DeadAlive, and it's pretty much The Muppet Show, but with tons of sex and drugs and hardcore perversion.. It's absolutely amazing..

also:
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie the original Dead trilogy by Romero (Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead) The Beyond (imho, a better Fulci film than Zombi) Dead Hate The Living is pretty funny if you've watched enough zombie films btw: Screwhead - you should check out Shatterdead. It's this total low-budget zombie flick that has some splat-terrific moments, and the best corp-sex scene this side of the Nekromantik films. ...and Meet The Feebles is an awesome date movie. If your girl starts singing along to the musical number about sodomy - you know you're in for a great night!

I barely remember The Beyond, I was pretty fucking baked when I watched it, but I remember thinking it was pretty cool.. I vaguely remember something about a portal or a gate to hell or something... But I deffinitley love Zombi, mostly 'cause there's just one scene that I find is the best looking/representation of a zombie.. That scene where you see just one lone zombie walking through the abandoned village... I dunno, it's one of the most powerfull and realistic zombie images I've ever seen IMO..
I'd grab a screenshot of it, but it seems I lost the movie on the hard drive that crashed.. The Dead Hate The Living is amazing, but to really 'get' the movie, you have to be a pretty hardcore zombie-lover.. It's a movie about zombie-movie lovers, by zombie-movie lovers, with tons of inside jokes and references to zombie movies... (best line ever... "What would Bruce Campbell do?") I don't think I've seen Let A Sleeping Corpse Lie, or maybe I'm just not remembering it clearly... Is that the one with the kid and the boob? I'll be on the lookout for Shatterdead, that sounds pretty cool... I know I've pimped it out often before, but [ cinemageddon.org ] has the best selection of bad, trashy movies.. Just register to the tracker, and type in Zombie in the search, and you're gonna have so much to go through to see if it's interesting.. Meet the feebles is totally the best hehehe.. That musical number is the best... "Soooooooodooommmyyyyyy.... You might think it very ooooodd of meeeeeee... that I enjoy the act of soooodoooomyyyyy..." fuck it, here's a video.

I got a soft spot for Jackson's Bad Taste, too...
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie is also known as Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue... weird sort of bio-zombie film (some kind of pesticide is responsible for the zombification)... been a long time since I watched it. As for The Beyond... it doesn't have a zombie-shark scene, and it doesn't have Mia Farrow's sister... but it more than makes up for it... this girl inherits a house built on one of the seven doors to Hell, and it somehow gets opened up - it starts off like a haunted house film, then turns into some kind of zombie apocalypse... City of the Living Dead (aka Gates of Hell) isn't bad, either - but it's not nearly as good as The Beyond....

yeah, City of the Living Dead I've got on vhs.. I vaguely remember The Beyond, but I'm gonna have to download that again... I've actually burned a copy of Living Dead at Manchester Morgue, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet!

Ooh, that's a tough call.. Ghoulies and Critters were both pretty similar in progression: The first movie was more of a serious horror movie, the 2nd was more of a comedy-horror.. Ghoulies 3 though is probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen.. I dunno, I love 'em both..
Ghoulies 1 was a pretty cool movie about the occult and had some really cool scenes.. Ghoulies 2 was a good, fun movie, whith the old guy who's name I never remember (was also the farmer at the beginning of Killer Klowns from Outer Space).. Ghoulies 3 was just bad... Make the things talk and act like horny frat-boys.. Ok, lots of tits, but that really wasn't a redeming factor for how bad the rest of the movie was.. Critters, I found the first one to be kinda weak, but still decent.. The 2nd one is my favorite out of the serries, and not just 'cause of the playboy model's tits :P The third was alright, and it was Leonardo DiCaprio's first movie! I don't remember the 4th one, though.. I'd probably have to go with Ghoulies as my favorite, but really, I like 'em both.
