Anybody Know Of Any Cheap Hostels In Vancouver?

 Coolness: 84565 | i might be flying out in august to do some work training for a week or so.
and i gotta work out my own accommodations so i'm gunna try and get er done cheap cheap cheap and need to find a good hostel where i won't get ass raped. particularly in the kitsilano hood or close to would be best. anybody know anything?? |

 Coolness: 52410 | American Backpacker.. it's on west pender street.. near west hastings and seymour.. dorm is 10$ a night (60$ weekly), single room is 20$ (130$ weekly)..
it's the best price in vancouver.. If the neighborhood creeps you out I might have 1 or 2 other suggestions.. but it's a bit more expensive.. let me know ;) I stayed there for almost 2 months and didn't have any problem.. I think a guy should be able to handle it pretty well! it's really not that far from kitsilano also.. 10min walk?  Coolness: 2749330 | hastings is awesome... it's near where all the cool bars are with electronic music... if you want to have fun, hastings is not the road but all the roads around it are the place to be... |

| Coolness: 52410 | There's Cambie and HI and samesun but it's a bit more expensive.. 25$ + a night in dorms..
Cambie is still in hastings but cleaner.. but it's still a hostel you can't expect 5stars! you can also check out HI but I think it's overpriced And there's some kind of a chinese hostel in gastown (it's like the old port in montreal) but it's so close to hastings it's not even worth it.. was 15$ a night if I remember correctly.. if you need their info I could check out my books.. Luck ;) |

i've been to a cheap but decent hotel in gastown, nice little neighborhood ; i wouldn't recall the name nor the price, though... |
