Amplified Speakers

| I just Bought some amplified speakers 100 watts each they r Event mark, but when they r off they are warm to the touch actually a bit hot...Am i doing something wrong? |

| How long do they stay hot for? Also, what do you have the volume at when they are in use? (active speakers often have a notched volume knob) |

| the volume knob on the speaker is not high at all less than half way point...And my master is not high either...I live in an appartment sp no loud music that is why i got amplified speakers. And not those huge ones with amplifiers that i have.
They r off when they r hot unless i unplugg them they stay hot... |

| wow fuck man i just bouyght them about 2 months ago do u think they will exchange them? I have the proof of purchase and everything! But one of the boxes my cat destroyed ah well it ain't that bad...It could be fixed up.
Because i had the rca wires in the unbalanced input, then i removed it and kept it off and plugged in and they still got hot hot he touch... |

| depends on the store, just explain to them that they stay hot even while powered off (most likely the switch itself) If they ask why it took two months to notice, ask them how often they casually check their speakers to see if they're warm... The rca's in the unbalanced shouldnt do it, even if it were a question of +4 versus consumer level, that wouldnt cause your issue, imo. |

| it is steve's where i bought them. I noticed about 2-3 weeks ago and tried to solve the problem, i even called steve's and they told me to do a couple things as well, to test them and if it continued to bring them or call back....so i hope they stick to their word.
because at first i didn't notice u know new speakers yay finally i can hear myself mix yay.... i noticed only the begining of july and have been trying to solve the problem..Anyway thanks for your help..I appreciate it alot... |
