Coolness: 176365	[ www.news.com.au ] Deer me! Six-legged fawn found SHOCKED veterinarians have saved a mutant six-legged deer found wandering injured in the wild after being attacked by dogs. The fawn - which also has two tails, two pelvises and uses one leg from each pelvis to walk - was discovered near Armuchee, Georgia, and rushed to a nearby animal clinic for emergency surgery. One of the tails had to be amputated. Animal science professor George Gallagher said: "It received minor injuries from the dogs but is now recovering ... and doing quite well." Vet Dan Pate added: "It is really an anomaly. It appears it is an identical twin that didn’t form all the way." Experts are reportedly reluctant to release the youngster back into the wild and are considering sending it to the University of Georgia to be studied.
