So they lost my bag on July 17th
July 18th 8:00pm. Phone rings Agent: We found your bag. We want to deliver it Me: Sounds good Agent: it will be there by 10pm Me: Sounds good Agent: Ok thanks. Sorry, about losing your bags. Me: Fine. Bye Agent: Bye July 19th 1:30 AM. Phone rings through 5th cycle Me: Hello? Courier: Ive be trying to deliver your bags. Theyre outside your house. Me: Its 1 am Courier: Your bags are downstairs Me: Come back tomorrow COurier: Come down and pick up your bags Me: Good night July 19th 1:31 AM Phone rings Me: Hello? Courier: Come down and pick up your fucking bag Me: Fuck off asshole. Courier: Pick up your fucking bag Me: Go fuck yourself. Im not coming downstairs July 23rd. 8:30pm Still no bag. I call British Airways ME: Where are my bags Agent "its at the airport, come pick it up." My response: "ummm...the airport is an hour away. You can deliver it to my house at a decent hour." Agent: We have attempted delivery twice; we will not attempt it again Me: When was the second deleivery attempt? Agent: Monday. No one was home Me: Did you call me to confirm that I would be at home? Agent: No Me: Ok...so how should I have known to be at home Agent: We attempted delivery twice, you can come pick your bag up at the airport Me: I don't think so Agent: Then your bag will stay at the airport Me: Fine...it can stay at the airport. In 6 weeks, you owe me 1500$ Agent: It doesn't work that way Me: Yes it does Agent: NO it doesn;t Me: So, are you delievering my bag? Agent: No, you can pick it up the airport. Is there anything else I can help you with Me: Yes, you can write on file that I expect my bag to be delivered to me, or I expect 1500$. Agent: YOu can pick your bag up at the air port. Is there anythign else I can help you with Me: Did you write down what I told you to. Agent:...yes Me: Ok, bye. Just for the record, I won't be picking up my bag. Im actually serious. Agent: THen it can stay at the airpor___(at this point I hang up) *20 minutes later phone rings* Agent: Hi. IM calling from British Airways. We're going to attempt to deliver your bag tonight. Me: Ok. Just to let you know, if the bag arrives later than 10:30pm, I wont accept delivery. Agent: We can't control what time it arrives Me: Im not going to wake up to accept a bag Agent: If you don't accept it, it will stay at the airport, and you can pick it up yourself Me: Why can't you just ensure it arrives before 10:30 Agent:...We can't control that Me: Thats too bad. I still won't accept it after 10:30pm Agent: ok Me: Bye Ugh...what shitty customer service | |

You are being a tad of a asshole with them too yknow. There is such a thing as bad customer service, but there is also the bad customer. If you had told me to fuck off at 1am because you're in your jammies and don't want to take a couple flights of stairs to claim your possession, I would've taken a shit in your bag and left it there :) |

So no offense but clients like that don't get anywhere near the star treatment. They don't even get my apologies. I'm sorry but I treat clients like they treat me. Im a travel agent, and when I was in school for this, I used to want to be the person that works at the complaints sections in airports...
But then I heard people have nervous breakdowns and panick attacks after working there for 6 months cause the stress is just too much.. | |

If I lived alone in a condo, perhaps. When you live in a house with 4 other people, and a courier phones 5 times at 1 am, hes being a dick. He knows your sleeping and is trying to wake you up to make a late delivery to save his own ass. And for the record, he started the cuss fight, which again smells like shitty customer service IMO. And if they called to say the bag would arrive late, that would have been fine too. When they tell you it will be there by the latest at 10:30, thats something else. Anyways, they never delivered my bag yesterday, after again saying they would attempt delivery. THis isnt about the bag. Its about so much more. Its about a principle. And while I dont have many of them, expecting proper customer service when the firm is at fault, is one of them. Lets play a game. You give me your phone number, and Ill promise to call you by 10:30 tonight to return some shit of yours I lost. Not free shit, just some of your shit I borrowed. Ill call by 10:30 at the latest. | |

yaa.. imagine you have a 5 month old kid, you get no more than 45 minutes of sleep per shot, and some courrier comes at 1am. You're gonna tear him a new one and he deserves it. Trust me i know public, retail, customer service billing tech support you name it i've done it. I was even with the SAQ during the strike. Quebec is special for whiney ppl i know, but that includes dicks that ring door bells at 1am. No sympathy from me. | |
