| A good trick for not getting your bike stolen: Paint it mate brown with a paint brush (tires and everything) then partially cover it with box tape. |

| Stolen bikes have always been a constant problem in Montreal. The only thing someone can do is minimize the chances the thief has to steal your bike (ex. putting your bike in your house or hard to access area) and accentuate discomfort to those stealing your bike (ex. not attaching your bike in a secluded pitch black alley in the middle of the night). Also, engraving your bike with your driver's license will help cops return stolen goods if they find your shit in a pawn shop as they do tend to go into those establishments. |
