Bush should go to trial for crimes of war, no less, as should his co-conspirators.

How could he be impeached for:
Article I Creating a Secret Propaganda Campaign to Manufacture a False Case for War Against Iraq. Article II Falsely, Systematically, and with Criminal Intent Conflating the Attacks of September 11, 2001, With Misrepresentation of Iraq as a Security Threat as Part of Fraudulent Justification for a War of Aggression. Article III Misleading the American People and Members of Congress to Believe Iraq Possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction, to Manufacture a False Case for War. Article IV Misleading the American People and Members of Congress to Believe Iraq Posed an Imminent Threat to the United States. Article V Illegally Misspending Funds to Secretly Begin a War of Aggression. Article VI Invading Iraq in Violation of the Requirements of HJRes114. Article VII Invading Iraq Absent a Declaration of War. Article VIII Invading Iraq, A Sovereign Nation, in Violation of the UN Charter. ...and not be tried for war crimes? The impeachment wont go through, i'm afraid, the U.S. is way to corrupt for that.

Man... I want to meet that MILF. Dayumn. Update » JasonBeastly wrote on Thu Jun 12, 2008 @ 3:33am I can't figure out how two political journalists can talk about all this now as if they felt that the allegations were true all along when pretty much every form of media in the states has pulled this complacent if not in fact explicit collusion with Bush's political choices. The obvious Republican argument of course would be that this sort of program is the Liberal Media Conspiracy's fault... I just don't get how when the flag is changed everyone wipes their hands of their former political stances and starts to talk like a logical human being.
I call bullshit on all of this. Nobody cares about war crimes, because they make the world go 'round...
I'm feeling dirty burgers right now.. |

In 100 years, the Iraki will sing folk songs about GW Bush.

maybe like this one?
Wadia's best friend's youngest sister was denied a proper burial because for two days they couldn't douse the flames the allied planes had showered on her tiny body. And all the paper trails that lead to all the roads that lead to all these Basras make it seem like we're all just "collateral damage" waiting to be happened in some unforeseen Pentagon budget-drill. Today's Ba'ath regime is just the Red Scare of yesteryear. And I drink myself to sleep because I'm losing faith that any of us will ever amount to anything more than reluctant human subsidies, the moving parts in a death-machine, protesting their complicity, but waiting for somebody else to throw their body on the churning gears. I drink myself to sleep because I'm losing faith that we, here in the Cradle of Affluence can cease this sickening drive for individual strength through state-powers' swinging fists or that we'll ever look back and laugh at the irony that is: an atomic murderer is enshrined in Independence, USA while 8000 miles from here (back in the Cradle of Democracy) it's another banner year for a cottage industry ? a ritual at the corner of George and Constantine - as foundries scramble to recast his decapitated monument.
