| Yup. Cigarette smokers. Like, they'll ticket people who throw cigarettes butts to the ground? Masa said today that they do that too for people throwing cigarette butts in parks.
There's also the "must be at least X meters from a public zone to smoke" law that they seem to be enforcing lately. |

| Yeah DrN not just in parks, it's a littering thing... 'cuz throwing a cigarette butt IS littering.
There are apparently 18000 ashtrays installed in Montreal, probably around downtown. But I swear, if I catch a ticket for throwing away a butt (the cigarette kind) and there isn't an ashtray in my line of sight, I'm disputing it.
Heh, I kinda support those indoor bans and I can deal with having to smoke outside (it's actually great in the summer, parties are often more fun outside) but this is getting ridiculous. They're cracking down harder on people throwing away botches than those who litter "regular" trash. |

| ... yeah, it does seem a bit much?! seems to me this law indirectly specifies when you can and cant smoke... but i mean, if you actually get caught flicking a butt by a cop, well.. haha! | At Vendome yesterday morning there was a cop ticketing a taxi driver and in the middle when she was doing that she saw some dude parked dropping off his friend in the bus area at the metro and gave em a ticket,while he was giving someone else a ticket ;) |

| the other day i saw two female uniform police officers sitting down in the metro talking about their period,it was hilarious,when they saw i was looking at them they moved further down to continue talking about their feminin problems while i dodge haitians with guns left and right. |
