| Coolness: 51285 | Well, it's simply that I liked the noisy electronic rock that he was playing at the time. The lyrics were way greater too...I don't like much of the political-oriented lyrics of Year Zero. If I wanted electronic music playing with politics, I'd listen to KMFDM. Nine Inch Nails, for me, was way more than that.
The Great Below, And All that Could Have Been, The Fragile, Hurt, Closer, Gave Up, The Only Time....I don't see a single track on any post-fragile album that compares to these tracks (note that I haven't listened to anything after Year Zero). I'd like to see them live, but I'd hope they'd play a lot of the older stuff...Eraser, live with the cinematic screen, was fucking orgasmic. |
