| Boy, oh boy.
The night was fantastic. I've always wanted to see the Rev live but never got the chance to, until Saturday night. While Nashville Pussy was a good rehearsal for all the mayhem that would ensue, the Rev really kicked it up, even going so far as asking a bored guy to leave.
What can I add? He played all my favorite songs (Bales of Cocaine ftw!) and Jimbo was manical on his stand-up bass. The crowd went wild and started throwing themselves at one another. I'm not even sure we can call it a mosh pit anymore.
After half the performance, the band went into a "one cover per decade" bit, which was incredibly entertaining. Hearing Rev play Black Sabbath's Paranoid and Nirvana's In Bloom was awesome. Hearing Motorhead's Ace of Spades during the encore was even better.
I stood next to the stage the whole time and while I still had hearing problems the day after, it was all worth it.
