Coolness: 40295	Greetings Montreal, I finally got off my ass and put a mix up. Starts off groovy, builds up to a peak, drops down into the deeper side of things with Sebrok and Dirty Bass, brings it back into stomp mode with some Technasia and Marco Bailey, and ends on a dark twisted tip with Blocked Barrel from Perc, a nasty bassline monster from Ant and D.D.R., some of Dirty Bass' more psychedelic output, a courtesy appearance from William Burroughs, and an Analord track. Coolness: 40295	Battletech is just a term I came up with...basically refers to tough, aggressive techno, not quite hardtek or schranz and not really acid, but would be good to drive a tank/fight cyborgs/pilot a mech to. 'Our Broken Toy' or 'Hydraulix 34a' are good examples. A lot of the stuff on ARMS, Internal Error, and MAXMIN lately fit into what I'm trying to describe as well. Fishead: Believe it or not, that was like, the 2nd vinyl I ever bought ever. It's hard to find anything that will mix into it, but it works nicely as a tool to throw over longer tracks. I'll try to track down some of his newer stuff... PS. I'm totally stealing that Battletech picture...badass.
