 Coolness: 90390 | They've announced the initial line-up. Day one is looking pretty sweet - Iggy Pop and Duchess Says alone is worth the $62 day pass. Sure, the headliners suck bigtime but this initial lineup is already better than last year's final one!

J'ai trouvé que les expositions d'art était légèrement plus intéressantes que le line up. |

 Coolness: 77615 | I don't think it'll be like a real Iggy show, a few of the original Stooges are dead, I think you got maybe Steve Mackay dropping in on sax but that's not the most crucial role, and he was mostly a sessions guy. Mike Watt has taken Dave Alexander's place, which is pretty cool, but I'm just not sure that Iggy has it in him to start cutting his chest open and shooting heroin on stage anymore. Ya know, meh. |

 Coolness: 266860 | Gogol Bordello is definitely worth seeing live, they're very fun and high energy up on stage.
I mean, I'm not big on concerts and I went to the show alone and still managed to have a really good time, so props to those guys. Broken Social Scene was not too bad when I went to see them a few years ago, I was actually at their show for Islands, who were opening, and had no idea who the fuck they were. The Chromeo show was great apparently, that could be fun to see. But yeah, I'm with Kalan.. TECHNO TECHNO TECHNO. |
